1968 Morris Minor Convertible

Myrtle was our first classic car and will probably be the very last to go if we ever have to sell up - which will be never!

Everywhere you go in her you are met with smiles and waves and without doubt she has to be the Great Aunt of the road. And, as a special treat for her, we decided to give her a face lift, not that she thought she needed one.

And what a face lift!! After much persuading we got those automotive geniuses Mike and Mark Fisher to undertake the restoration. This was no mean feat. Mike and Mark are Fisher Restorations who look after, amongst other things, the vehicles of the Royal Automobile Club, the ones you see The Duke of Kent drive in the London to Brighton Rally. You should have seen her when we parked her next to half a million pounds worth of Alvis, what a picture.

Well she is back, and, probably, the best Moggie convertible on the road. There will be better ones around I'm sure but you will not see them being driven on the road.

Her new outfit is pearlised white with a dark blue mohair hood. A true wedding cake of a car!

We will upload more new pictures as soon as the weather changes.
